Coal found in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming is some of the lowest
sulphur content coal mined in the United States today. About one-fifth of
all coal mined in the country comes from the Powder River Basin. All four
of Powder River Coal Company's mines are located in the Powder River Basin.
The four mines are Caballo Coal Mine, North
Antelope Coal Mine, Rawhide Coal Mine, and
Rochelle Coal Mine.
