Task: Utilize technology to collect, store, manipulate, and present information. This may include but not limited to the following hardware and software: computers, video recorders, microscopes, video microscopes, camcorders, digital cameras, probes, Clarisworks, Hyperstudio, and electronic reference materials.
Product: Students may produce a video presentation, printed document, Hyperstudio presentation, and/or journal entries which were generated with technology.

Very high quality documents which appeal to the reader. Meaningful information was acquired from multiple sources. Printed image was integrated into a word processing document

Quality documents with no spelling errors and appropriate labels and graph selections. Appropriate search words were used and time was managed efficiently in accessing meaningful information. Video image was inputted into computer and printed.
Level 2
Partially
Proficient
Low quality documents containing errors and lacking reader appeal. Search had limited success due to poor search word choice. No printed image was made.
Level 1
Non
Proficient
Poor quality documents that lack accuracy. Little or no meaningful information was collected. Time was wasted during search. No image was inputted into the computer.
Scoring Process:

Level 4 = Total 11 - 12
Level 3 = Total 9 - 10
Level 2 = Total 6 - 8
Level 1 = Total 3 - 5
