    CELEBRATION

A. Cottonwood Elementary School Celebration

Principal Alan Burke will introduce Grades 4-6 teachers who will present the new SMART Program, a corrective/enrichment initiative they have developed.

Mr. Burke will provide an academic report.

 
     
B. Wright Junior - Senior High School Celebration
Principal Hal Johnson will introduce Ms. Brittany Weaver and her FCCLA students who attended the national competition.

Principal Johnson will also present an academic report for his school.

 
 
C. Facilitator Report - Music
Ms. Marie Dickey will update the board about this curricular area.

D. Student Expulsions

Administration recommends Student No. 6 be expelled for the remainder of the 2010-2011 school year with early readmittance under strict probation, subject to terms and conditions of building administration.

Administration recommends Student No. 7 be expelled for the remainder of the 2010-2011 school year with early readmittance under strict probation, subject to terms and conditions of building administration.

Administration recommends Student No. 8 be expelled for the remainder of the 2010-2011 school year with early readmittance under strict probation, subject to terms and conditions of building administration.

Administration recommends Student No. 9 be expelled for oneyear with early readmittance under strict probation, subject to terms and conditions of building administration.

Administration recommends Student No. 10 be expelled for one year with early readmittance under strict probation, subject to terms and conditions of building administration.

Administration recommends Student No. 11 be expelled for one year with early readmittance under strict probation, subject to terms and conditions of building administration.

Administration recommends Student No. 12 be expelled for one year with early readmittance under strict probation, subject to terms and conditions of building administration.

E. Policies

Policy 5200, Student Health, has been reviewed with no changes.

Regulation 5210-R, Communicable Diseases, Immunizations and Throat Cultures, has been editorially changed to align with current practice.

 
     
F. School Calendars
School calendars for 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 are presented for approval. A copy of the minutes of the public hearing held October 5, 2010 are included.
