Basic Information About the Cell

The type of cell used for this project is a stereotypical plant cell (shown above). The entire cell is surrounded by a cell wall, a stiff layer of cellulose. Immediately inside the cell wall, also encompassing the cell, is the cell membrane. The nucleus is inside the cell membrane. The nucleus is the main planner of the cell. It contains the DNA and RNA and manufactures protiens. Finally, Cytoplasm which is located inside the cell wall and cell membrane.
