It's the Grand Canyon! This canyon is in the United States, a country in North America.The Grand Canyon was carved by the Colorado River.
Niagara Falls is a set of massive waterfalls located on the border between the United States and Canada. Both the United States and Canada are countries in North America.  
 

 

There are magnificent Mayan Temples in Mexico. Thousands of years ago, Mayan people built temples and pyramids to honor their Gods, as well as their rulers.
 

 

 

Animals of North America

North America is home to many different creatures.

 The Canada goose is a large North American bird that honks.
   

The North American Beaver is a large rodent that builds dams and dens.
   
Prairie Dogs are found in North America. The prairie dog is not really a dog, but a ground squirrel.  
   

The bald eagle is a magnificent bird of prey. It is the symbol of the United States of America.
   

 The moose is the largest member of the deer family.
